Phantasmagoria

The world is ruled by egotistical leaders whose only aim is to achieve their goals by selfish, violent and cruel means, just to fulfil their own desires. The ruler of the seven islands believes that the key to his people’s future survival is finding a planet that is suitable for life. As nature’s resources are rapidly depleting, more and more effort is spent on space programmes and technology. With the introduction of robots that can do almost everything, the people of the world are left to their own devices, suffering the pains of unemployment, poverty, disease and crime.

In a godless society where the standard of life is so degraded, what hope can lie ahead for the future? One man’s life is about to change as he begins to question his reason for being. Is this all there is to life? Why are we suffering? Is there a higher purpose to life? Where did we come from and where do we go to after we die? As he contemplates, he not only thinks about days gone by but what’s coming ahead.

In the midst of all this turmoil, two different species appear on the same planet on the day of an eclipse. A strange entity seems to be making its way zone by zone through the world. Will this being be a friend or an enemy? Or has it joined forces with the beings from the other universe?
