Surprised me
First the negatives; the cover is HORRIBLE. I never would have read this had it not been free. The amount of typos, grammatical errors and chronological inconsistencies were astronomical and frankly incredibly distracting.
The positive; this was a fun, fast-paced mystery with my favourite elements (witchcraft and murder-mystery) There’s a touch of (forced) romance but it’s not really central to the plot and isn’t sappy or spicy at all (which I prefer).
