Rare Birds

Crime was never supposed to be this funny.

In Somerset, Renton and his mates approach crime much as they approach a night out: with plenty of enthusiasm, very little planning and an argument about who's paying.

A distinctly British comedy crime caper, Rare Birds is packed with pub banter, dodgy deals and men whose confidence consistently outstrips their competence. When an unexpected find promises a small fortune, common sense has every opportunity to intervene. It doesn't.

Expect sharp dialogue, colourful language and gloriously daft situations as this unruly crowd turn a business opportunity into a criminal muddle.

For readers who enjoy eccentric British characters, irreverent humour and crooks who can complicate absolutely anything.
