The ship came down hard. Simon could see the wreckage strewn out across a wide swath of the alien landscape. Both of them made it, but Samantha was still trapped inside.

Sacrifice
An excellent work, set in a Sci-Fi backdrop, that deals with the age old question of "love" and it's various aspects. Conventional thinking of love is severely curtailed by tradition and religious teachings. This lovely work knocks down those boundaries and explores the natural wide ranging scope of love. Why not love for a sentient entity, why not indeed. And a remarkable final twist. Very well done MS, very well indeed!
