Wonderful quick read
I first read this book while in a hammock and the enjoyment of reading of such a tropical and beautiful place was great. The characters are rich and bold in their own ways which brings a great passion to them and to each of their causes/plights. I really enjoyed this read.
Dating manual for single parents
This certainly uncovered some aspects I hadn't considered when it comes to dating a single parent. Even though this book is about a divorced mother, I'm guessing similarities hold true for a divorced man. Discussion with friends about this book revealed some interesting talk about what it's like to be raised in a single parent family and how close this book got to the reality. Expect to laugh and cry.
More than a beach read, but just as fun!
Sexy, fun, yet serious issues at hand to create drama and suspence. Wonderful storytelling that draws you in to Skylar's life, and her various relatonships. The characters and conversations are authentic, and every reader can surely find one character in the book they identify with! And who doesn't love a good read set on a fabulous island paradise.
