3.5 stars--SEDUCING HER PRINCE is the first instalment in Jen Katemi’s contemporary, adult RICH AND ROYAL erotic, romance novella series. This is thirty year old, Prince Kasper Devon Leoni III, and twenty-seven year old, Eleni Mikaro’s story line.
Told from first person point of view (Eleni) and third person perspectives (Kas) SEDUCING HER PRINCE follows the building relationship between thirty year old, Prince Kasper Devon Leoni III, and twenty-seven year old, Eleni Mikaro. Eleni Mikaro was hired to do a job but never intended to fall in love. Meeting Prince Kasper of the small kingdom of Leonioro felt all kinds of right but meant all kinds of wrong for a woman about to betray the man with whom she is falling in love. What ensues is the building romance between Eleni and Kas, and the potential fall-out as Eleni’s true intent comes to light.
Eleni Mikaro’s past is haunted and dark, and the path she chose has brought her face to face with the man she is about to betray. With his father’s imminent death just weeks away, Kas finds solace and thoughts of a future with a stranger he met in Melbourne, Australia.
The relationship between Kas and Eleni is one of immediate attraction but an attraction predicated upon a lie. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense but I struggle with the use of a certain four-letter word.
We are introduced to Kasper’s brother and twin Davide, a man who struggles as the spare to the heir. Davide’s story is next in Protect and Obey.
SEDUCING HER PRINCE is a quick read; a story of family, betrayal, heart break and forgiveness. The fast paced premise is entertaining; the characters are colorful and charismatic but I had hoped for more details and background; the romance is spicy and hot. My other issue is the quick resolution to the story line conflict but such is the nature of a novella story.
