Interesting love!
This book is a modern version of black love. It story is so beautiful it is the twist between Love Jones and Romeo & Juliet. I was rooting for Eva and Shane ( the main characters) throughout the book. I like also their maturity in exploring their relationship. I really enjoyed this book recommended by Reese’s book club Hello sunshine!
Favourite read of the summer
I bought this book when it was announced for the Reese's book club but haven't gotten around to read it till today and I completely devoured this book in a day. In make no sense how I couldn't stop reading. This is my first read from Tia Williams and it was amazing. Will be looking forward to her other novels. Beautiful writing style. I absolutely LOVED the fact that we were getting different points of view all throughout the book. This was/is a beautiful love story. I really fell in love with Shane Hall, he might be my favourite character after Audre. I won't describe this as a "cute love story" because, even though it is a romance novel, it isn't quite "cute". It might be cute in some sense, but there's really more to it. There's pain, hurt and, of course, love, but a complicated one. Like I said earlier, this is my first book I'm reading from Tia but I absolutely fell in love with her writing style. My favourite read of the summer.
