This history in graphic novel format will explain some of the complicated political, legal and economic forces that led to the American Civil War, from the “Middle Passage” slave trade that lasted for decades to the John Brown raid on the arsenal at Harpers Ferry which sparked the final arguments before the secession of Southern states in 1861.
