Friends to wow!
What do you do when you realize what you are looking for and wanting has been beside you all along? You take a chance and risk it all for love. Gray has been there for Daisy for the past few years and feels like a dad to her precious son. Has help her with everything from switching tracks from being in front of the camera to behind it and enjoys spending time with her and Henry. Add in Henry’s bio dad, some mystery, a persistent photographer, a clingy musician, a few modelling friends, band mates and family and you get a book that begs to be read!
**There is a trigger warning with this book**
4 1/2 Stars for this friends-to-lovers romance!
This book is so sweet and then all of a sudden it takes on this dark side and had me on the edge of my seat. I just love Gray and Daisy. Daisy is a single mom who retired from modeling and wanting to find a career that will let her have more time with her son. Gray is the strong silent type that loves with his whole heart! Even thought Gray is best friends with Daisy, he wants to be more than friends. He wants to be a family with Daisy and her son (Henry) ... who he already treats like his own. Gray has no idea that Daisy feels the exact same way! But when Henry's bio dad calls, Daisy and Gray's world will turn upside down.
Although this is a standalone, if you start the series from the beginning you get more background on Gray and Daisy ... plus they are also great stories! This is an excellent addition to the series and I can't wait for Eli's book next!
I rececived an early copy courtesy of the author in exchange for a honest review.
