Tears of Requiem
Really enjoyed the first book in this trilogy and am experiencing the same a third of the way through the second, Songs of Dragon 2. Definitely worth the price if you like stories of lore, of mythical days gone by, of dragons and damsels and all that is fantasy. Arenson has a gift for storytelling and in this series has so far encompassed a range of expression that comprises everything from love, hate, lust, jealousy and treachery to bravado, courage, logic, wisdom and more. Interesting and varied-length chapters that focus on one key character or group of characters make this book an easy read that never gets tedious or boring. Lots of action - a great read and one that I highly recommend.
