Publisher Description
When you’re an outlaw the only way out is death.
The only thing I ever wanted was Samantha. The one thing Devil’s Wrath held over me was her life. It turned me into a criminal, but it kept her alive. And I figured if I couldn’t have her love then I’d be the scariest, most powerful outlaw around. What happened to me didn’t matter as long as I took Devil’s Wrath down in the end.
But now Sam’s life is in danger and my outlaw way of life might be the only thing that can save her. All we have to do is destroy two criminal empires. Sounds impossible, right? Maybe for someone ordinary. But Sam and me? We’ve never been ordinary and the love I have for her is more powerful than anyone who stands in our way.
How far are you willing to go, Jace?
All the way, baby.

The Bastard
Great finale.
The story was grappling attention from the beginning. I thought the Jace point of view will be more subdued but I was so wrong.
It was more emotional rollercoaster, more intriguing even if you know ending.
Definitely recommended this duet of drama, danger, suspense and passion

Pretty good
This is the 2nd and final book in the author’s Empire Duet and continues on where book 1 left off with Sam and Jace. This couple’s relationship is intense and I was glad when they finally got their perfect ending, however, I found the story read quite slow at times. It seemed to come and go. Just as I became addicted to the romance between the pair the author would inject too much unnecessary information and details that just didn’t add to the story which completely affected the flow. Other than that, I enjoyed the read.
