Great read
I honestly don't know what there was not to love about this book, the story was great, the characters were well developed and the plot had a nice flow to it.
This is Sophie and Christian's story, Sophie is set to marry what she thinks is the man of dreams, he's rich and comes from a good family, but is that really enough when she finds out that he has been cheating on her for their entire relationship? In walks Christian to save Sophie from the confines of a loveless marriage.
The sparks fly the minute that Sophie and Christian met on the night of her bachelorette party, and when they are finally together you will feel the connection that they share.
What I loved most about this book series was that the stories were about the women of the book, most romance stories are all about the men, so for this author to make the women shine was just amazing.

We were introduced to Bella and Christian in the first book “The Hookup”. Bella left her groom (Bradley) at the altar after finding out he had been cheating on her ... with several women. Bella was from a rich family and appeared to be a “princess” but looks can be deceiving. Christian had a one-night stand with his twin brothers ex-girlfriend (Ali) ... only his brother (Cain) didn’t know his girlfriend was an EX-girlfriend and she became pregnant. And seeing how Christian’s brother became a raging alcoholic after he found out, Christian laid claim to the little boy because Ali didn’t want him and Christian wouldn’t let the little boy grow up feeling unloved.
When Bella decides to get revenge on her ex for cheating on her ... she wants revenge sex with Christian. So she asks Christian to pick her up at the church and take her away. They go to cabin in the woods and spent the next 2 days in bed. If I say anything more about what happens next, I will wreck the story for others.
Even though Christian was the bad guy in the first book, I couldn’t help but fall for him in this book. When he told his side of the story, I just felt sorry for him. And Bella was just a sweet, down-to-earth rich girl. Ms McCarthy sure knows how to portray her characters in the best light and even make the ones you hated in one book - love them in the next book. This book is just a great funny romance with hot sex scenes. I just love this series and highly recommend it. But read the first book first to get the whole background on this couple. There are more siblings in this family, so I sure hope there is going to be more books.
