This book was oh sooo good, I could not put it down.

This is book one in the series, and it is Sophie and Cain's story, I love these two together, Sophie is a numbers girl and is working towards her PhD and Cain he's a lobster fisherman, how much more opposite could these two be? But they say opposites attract, well Cain and Sophie have it in spades.

I really loved how Sophie and Cain met and her determination for their one night together to be just that, one night, so that she could lose her virginity with no strings attached. What Sophie did not count on was falling for Cain and attaching a string to him, till their worlds collide and come crashing down.

Will there be a happily ever after for Cain and Sophie???

Cant wait for the next book in the series.

Totally enjoyed this book. Erin McCarthy has a fantastic sense of humour & reality all rolled up together. This story of looking for the answers in all the wrong places & people was a funny but heartbreaking story. The character of Sophie was so honest & innocent, yet strong but vulnerable while Cain was dark, stormy & broken to the point of vulnerable. Their story was only to be one night but one night turned into one week & Hearts got opened that were once thought permanently locked or not there at all. This fun, emotional story had you rooting for Cain to finally see his past didn’t define him & for Sophie to finally have someone in her corner understanding her overly intellectual brain. Sophie & Cain were a wonderful pair who together brought out the best in each other. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I voluntarily read this book through Net Galley for an honest review.

Sophie is 25-year old nerd who wants to lose her virginity while away for her sister's wedding. So when they go to a bar and she finds the handsome (and drunk) Cain at the bar, she propositions him ... and can't believe that he actually accepts. Cain has spent the last 2 years on a bar stool or working as a fisherman ... but mostly on the bar stool. He wants to forget he has a twin brother and what he did to him. Cain has lived his whole life in this tourist town and is no stranger to hooking up with tourists, but there's something different about Sophie and this intrigues him.

I loved this story! Sophie was so funny because she was so literal ... there were times I was laughing so hard I had to put the book down. For a rich girl, she was just so down to earth ... of course except for her quirks. And then Cain ... even though he was drunk all of the time, I loved how he just got Sophie when nobody else did. I loved how he could see past all her quirks to the beauty that lied beneath and, to me, that just made him hotter. I highly recommend you take Sophie and Cain's journey ... you won't regret it! I can't wait for the next book about Christian and Bella.
