Kristen and Josh’s first meeting can’t quite be called auspicious, but the more they get to know each other, the harder it becomes to stay away. Despite how much they like each other, there’s a problem—or, actually, many problems. Abby Jimenez’s emotionally complex story doesn’t shy away from the complicated realities of life, diving into infertility, family expectations, and relationship obligations. As Kristen and Josh attempt to sort out their issues, Jimenez’s witty and acerbic writing kept us laughing even when we were holding back tears.

Couldn’t put it down!
This book was genuinely beautiful! I couldn’t put it down. It had me laughing and crying. I experience more than a handful of chest flutters (the best part of reading.) The worthlessness Kristen feels due to her infertility is so raw and real and the steady devotion and understanding Josh has for her is a beautiful view of healthy, real love. ❤️❤️ I honestly re read this book within 2 months because it was so good.
