The Gold Mine

It is the spring of 2007 and Tony Sutherland has gotten off work and gone to a bar to have a beer. There, he meets Jason Muldane, who is a gold hunter. Jason confides to Tony that he has a gold mine in New Mexico that he has been working, he just needs a little capital to keep the operation going. Tony finally invests five thousand in the mine which Jason matches and they go in together as partners. Tony's wife Glenda has a fit and demands to meet Jason. He takes her to the bar the next night and Glenda seems charmed by the older man. Two weeks later they are on their way to New Mexico and begin a short partnership working at the mine. A Terrible tragedy occurs and Tony must work his way out of a legal and criminal mess. Tony does find a huge gold nugget, but the tunnel ceiling collapses and the nugget is apparently lost. Will he ever find it again?
