A cute short story
This was a very cute short story. Josephine Is told by her Queen mother that she is to marry. So she sneaks off to a ball and meets Otto. I liked the way the author brought her what she wishes for in a very unique way. A story worth reading.

That was just so stinking sweet
That was just so stinking sweet. I loved Josephine. I was both surprised and delighted that her ‘rebellion’ was so innocuous. Especially considering the treatment she received at her mother’s hands. Otto was quite adorable; very noble and a smidgen self-sacrificing. I thought the two of them made a delightful pair. I would have enjoyed a bit of a deeper dive into the politics around them, though. There’s a fast pass about her parents’ marriage and some high-level notes about what the next generation would like to accomplish, but I wanted some of the nitty gritty. I can’t wait to see what the author has up her sleeve for the next pairing.
