The Men From Menahur

Who said the Biblical Wise Men were old? Certainly not the Bible. St. Augustine gave them honor; Middle Age writers and artists gave them traditional images, but let’s assume the wise men were no older than ... Daniel when he was declared Babylon’s wisest, or Joseph when he ruled an Egyptian’s household, or David when he slew Goliath, or Mary when she gave birth to the Christ Child. Now, imagine the magi as rascals, often in trouble,  who saw something big in the sky, not just once, but a few times, and journeyed on a wild desert adventure that gave them an experience they would, for eternity, never forget.
