I picked up this book at the library and when I was a few chapters in, I had to return it and couldn't renew it. So far, I liked it. So I went home and purchased it on the ibook store. Being a Christian, I've read many religion oriented books and this was the first one I couldn't get through. The way the author portrayed this cop's religion, irritated me. He seemed obsessed with the fact that Kate didn't believe in God, and he wanted to "convert her" for lack of a better phrase. Now, it's only my personal belief, but Christian's should not force their beliefs on others. And the way that character behaved, annoyed me to no end, so I wasn't able to continue. For that reason, I'm giving it 3 stars, because I did love the writing style and story.
