Publisher Description
Trouble.
One word that comes to mind when someone talks about me. I like to think of it as protection, watching out for the ones I love. But now I’m spending more time in the penalty box than on the ice and the team owner isn’t happy.
Finding myself across the room from the hot therapist I kissed on New Year’s Eve only makes me push my problems down further. I want couch time with her but not the kind she’s used to.
I decide to lie to her just to finish off my therapy so I can do what I really want—date her—even if she says she doesn’t date hockey players. Just when my therapy sessions are up and I’ve made some headway with Paisley, it’s my parents who throw another wrench in my plans.
If I abide by my parent’s wishes to marry the one they’ve chosen, I’ll lose Paisley forever. But if I go against my parents, I’m failing my deceased best friend all over again.

The Trouble with #9
The Trouble with #9 is a forbidden, doctor/patient, hockey romance that is told in the first-person point of view of Maksim and Paisley.
Maksim is known as the bad boy on the ice and feels a constant need to protect everyone around him. Trying to avoid the mandatory therapy sessions that the team is forcing him to do, he is determined to get through therapy as fast he can so he can convince the team therapist, Paisley, to go on a date with him.
Paisley is the new team therapist and is determined to prove her worth to the team. She has been attempting to avoid Maksim's passes since New Year's Eve but has been finding it more and more difficult the more she gets to know him.
My Thoughts ...
Maksim and Paisley are sweet and adorable together. I loved all the fun dates that they went on. I loved how they both brought out more from each other than they were showing to the world. I love the little family that this group has created. This series is getting better and better as it goes forward. I can not wait for the next one.
Audio ... Tim Paige and Meg Sylvan both did a great job of giving the characters a voice and bringing the story to life. Tim Paige has become one of my favourite male narrators and Meg Sylvan is quickly moving up on my favourite female narrator's list.
