Amazing
I got the book at 930 last night and read all of it during the night. I was highly anticipating this story and trust it was way beyond my already high expectations. This 6 star story made me fall in love with the characters and made me feel so many different emotions.
Zoey and Austin have been running circles around each other for a while. It was never the right time for them. She has a lot to deal with right now. They get one night and Austin wants more. Can they make it work?
I don’t want to be bias of KC, but she is a damn good author. I have loved everything she as ever written. But a firefighter’s story is way up my alley. What I loved about this story? It had so many facets to it. It’s highly romantic and swoony, suspenseful and strong bonds between family and friends. It’s not only about the couple and their romance, it’s about sticking and coming together in a time of need. Strong family values, even if they are not all blood related. She focuses on that.
Beautifully written story that made me feel so many emotions. It was to the point without any unnecessary details that sometimes tend to drag stories on. If I manage to shed one tear while reading a story then it deserves all the stars in the sky. This story can be heartbreaking at times but I was left with a big smile on my face. Bottomline is this is a MUST read.
Standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA. I STRONGLY recommend this story. All of KC’s book are all worth the readers precious time and money.
