Vietnam: A Soldier's Journal by Jack Durish is a personal memoir of the author's tour of duty in Vietnam during the war that tore America's heart in half. It is a tale of his adventures and misadventures while serving in the rear echelons of the 9th Infantry Division. This telling of the Vietnam story is not politically correct, just true.
Vietnam: A Soldier's Journal
An honest and insightful account of a very unfortunate conflict by someone who experienced it first hand with boots on the ground. Many chapters broke my heart but I come away with a much understanding of the world in which we live. Thank you so much Mr. Durish for sharing this free account with us and thank you to all who served us in this unfortunate conflict, may you finally get the recognition you so richly deserve. By all means give peace a chance, but if your best intentions and efforts fail you had best be prepared to fight for it.
