Weddings and Funerals is an exploration into the life of a young female from the South. It is set in the past and all of the chapters represent fragments of memories. These memories provide insight into what life is like for our heroine Maggie. She is unconventional and traditional when she needs to be for the sake of her family. Each chapter of Weddings and Funerals is told from a different point of view that offers a different perspective on what is wrong and what is right in Maggie's life.
