But this morning all of that will change.
Because Diana Brewer isn't lying safely in her bed where she belongs. Instead she lies in a hayfield, circled by vultures, discovered by a local farmer.

Someone in Fairhill did this. Everyone wants answers.
And one innocent question could be deadly.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The veneer of a small town is shattered when a young girl is murdered in this riveting mystery. High school student Diana Brewer was a shining light in the quaint town of Fairhill, Vermont—but then her strangled body is discovered in a local farmer’s field. As the police investigation begins to reveal secrets about her seemingly ideal boyfriend and respected track-and-field coach, Diana’s spirit watches over it all, wanting just as badly to discover who killed her. Shari Lapena does it again, creating a gripping tale that blends a classic whodunit with just a touch of the supernatural. We loved seeing things from the perspective of Diana’s ghost, whose quest for revenge adds a brilliant twist. We became utterly engrossed in the investigation right up until the final reveal—which left us floored. Pop some popcorn or find a nice spot by the pool; you’ll want to savour this suspenseful story.
Customer Reviews
I liked it,a few twists
I thought What Have You Done? was a pretty good read overall. It was fast paced and easy to get pulled into. At times it felt a little repetitive, where I found certain sections circling the same beats. Still, it kept me interested enough to want to see how everything played out without spoiling the twists.
