Black Sheep-White Knight
I read these beauties together in one day so thought I would review them the same way, together. So many exceptional pieces locked together into an amazing puzzle that Meghan never has trouble delivering. The story had me from start to finish with Cannon, one illegitimate son of a notorious mobster & Memphis a girl reporter looking for justice in the murder of her father. Now I have to say that the name “Memphis” was so annoying and unfitting that it almost made me drop a star...it totally detracted from the story every time! Who would have thought a name could ruin all that sexy heat, plot twists and hearing it during intimate moments...was like yeah, no. Nevertheless... I powered on and the other characters smooth it over...Dom is a badass Casso crime boss and as it turns out...in a brilliant Meghan twist Memphis ends up being the daughter of their rival family, Rossetti’s. So her true identity is Alessandra Rossetti...Yay!! It was a really captivating story and the characters were well developed so you could easily see them in your mind. I love that. The duet is definitely a “click to buy” you will love the story, even when its a little slow...a rush always follows. Enjoy!
