Wild at Heart
Good book. I really enjoyed the writing about an area where my husband, kids and I spent a lot of time. It doesn’t have to be exotic, it’s better if it feels real and that’s what this story was about. Thank you.
4 Stars for this enemies-to-lovers romance!
I love Will and Catie and was rooting for their happily-ever-after. Ms. York has a way with making you feel that these characters are real people because the banter is realistic and the situations are normal everyday things that happen. This is a really sweet, funny and steamy romance, but I just wanted more ... I like the odd twist or turn. "Wild at Heart" is a great addition to the series and I can't wait for Seth's book next!
Will is the 2nd oldest Kincaid brother and is the school's principal along with a member of the SAR Team. He's in his late 30s and thought he'd be married with kids by now, but he just hasn't found "the one". Catie grew up in Pine Harbour and couldn't wait to leave, but years later she moves back searching for a sense of community. She owns her own hair salon along with being a real estate agent. She decides she wants to do more and joins the SAR Team, even though her nemesis (Will Kincaid) is on the team. As the training goes on, they realize there is more to each other and they can't remember why they don't like each other. And once again that saving takes form ... there's a fine line between love and hate.

What a great story. Cathie and Will were sweet. Wonderful characters all through the book.
