JB Salsbury is one of my favorite authors ... I love all her books and this one is no exception. I just loved Alexander and Jordan's story! It's so different from the regular good guy meets sweet girl romance because Alexander is not a good guy. He's mean, grouchy, distant, possessive ... but mostly he's dangerous. And Jordan is sassy, talkative, brave ... and challenges Alexander every chance she gets. I love how she calls him Grizzly ... it's the perfect nickname for him. I couldn't stop reading because the tension and electricity between them just jumps off the pages and I had to see how the story ends.
Jordan is on a hiking trip with her boyfriend and their friends. When she discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her with her best friend, she takes off running into the woods. She ends up falling down a ravine and is badly hurt. When she wakes up, she's in a log cabin with a man who is more like a grizzly bear than a human. He brings her back to life, feeds her and keeps her safe as a snow storm keeps them inside the small cabin for weeks. All he does is grunt and growl as she asks him question after question. She will never forget him when she returns to her normal life ... her mountain man who says he can't love or be loved.
Then we get introduced to Alexander's brothers ... and WOW, I just know this is going to be a fantastic series because I'm already in love with them. I can't say anymore without wrecking the story for others, but I highly recommend this book!
