Harlow College: Not Just Courses. Careers Vol 2

Since our successful introduction of iPads for all 16-18 year old learners in 2015, Harlow College has gone from strength to strength having twice successfully demonstrated this through becoming an Apple Distinguished School.

The further education college at Harlow has also grown to incorporate the new Stansted Airport College with both situated on the West Essex/East Herts border. The colleges seek to be innovative and enterprising, catering for just over 2,500 learners and 250 teaching staff.


From our Top 10 core apps, our teachers are able to choose those that will stimulate and enhance learning, teaching and assessment whilst also ensuring an engaging workflow. Subject specialist apps are also a key part of the mix. Ultimately our aim is to fully equip our learners for higher education, apprenticeships or the world of work with a strong emphasis on the digital skills they will need in the Twenty First Century.
