So you want to develop enquiry in science‪?‬

Science is all about discovery, having people find answers to questions inspired by the world around them.  As a baby, we discovered gravity, every time we knocked something off a table.  This is what enquiry is all about.  There is a belief that science is about learning the facts of things around us, however, science is only factual until it is proven to be something else.  For example, hundreds of years ago, out was a fact that the world was flat! (Through there are those that still believe that).
