A Bridge To Cross

AIDS has taken too many good people from their loved ones. In support of AIDS research and in honor of a very special friend, this is the short story of a young man's final journey after losing his fight for life.

Though AIDS is not the biggest topic in the news and even though many advancements have been made in combatting the HIV virus, the world is still dealing with this powerful epidemic after 30 years. AIDS does not discriminate. It does not care if you are male, female, black, white, young or old and HIV infections are still being reported in alarming numbers. Though much of the world has passed this off as a problem for gay men, the real problem belongs to all of us, our children, and the future of the world of tomorrow. There is still much work to be done.
