Betty's Bright Idea

Harriet Elisabeth Beecher Stowe (Jun 14, 1811 – Jul 1, 1896) was an American author and a member of abolitionists movement. She is mostly known for her novel Uncle Tom's Cabin (1852), devoted to harshness of life of slaves. This novel has a massive social resonance across US and Britain, provoked slavers’ wrath in the south and fueled anti-slavery-movements in the north.

Betty’s Bright Idea is short story by Harriet Beecher Stowe. This is an in all senses classic and through and through Christmas story. The entire world is on the verge of a celebration, the very air is molded with sense of wonder and miracle. And of course this atmosphere can affect people, mostly children, to do different things.
