Dak Kramer wasn't expecting much when his boss moved into his apartment building—just the usual small talk, awkward elevator rides, and the occasional forced neighborly interaction. Then he meets the boss's girlfriend.

And suddenly, things get a whole lot more complicated.

Now Dak is stuck navigating workplace tension, accidental run-ins, and a growing list of things he's trying very hard not to think about. His best friend is enjoying the drama way too much, his ex is way too comfortable around him, and the office parrot—because of course there's a parrot—won't stop calling him a loser.

The more he tries to ignore it, the worse it gets. The banter hits too deep. The eye contact lasts too long. And the past? It's not staying in the past.
