John

Peter stands out from amongst the Twelve, being willing to speak and act when others lay silent and still. He was the natural leader and was dominant in the witness to Jews in the years following Christ’s resurrection.          During those early years Peter was often accompanied by John, who seems to have been his right-hand man, his main support and ally.
