Lemons to Lemonade

God comes looking for His children. He calls them at the time they will listen.

 A graduate of Kingsway College and Andrews University, Sylvia was happy to be out of the “Adventist bubble.” She had put all that behind her.


Now, she was on top of the world. Not only was she vice president of franchise operations for Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, she was happily married to the man of her dreams. They had a big, beautiful house. They were living “the good life,” or so she thought. She had a great salary, furs, fine jewelry, and duties that took her all over the world to meet the rich and famous. What more could anyone want?


A lot more. More peace. More love. More hope, and yes, more faith.


"God, I am miserable! Won’t You show me how to make the changes in my life that I need to make? There has to be a way, Lord! . . . God, if You are really up there, help me!” Sylvia shouted one day at a God who still seemed distant. But He wasn’t. He never is.

Lemons to Lemonade is the story of one woman’s journey away from God. It is also the story of God’s calling her back to Himself, patiently over the course of years. But it’s more than just a story. This is an upbeat motivational book for spiritual growth for all women
