Non-Starter on Roads Headliney in Herey (Local‪)‬

I HAVE BEEN a Republican all of my adult life. For the first time I am unable to support the Republican candidate for governor of Virginia. I continue to support the GOP candidates for lieutenant governor and attorney general . During the 2007 session, Republican leaders developed a transportation plan that the majority of General Assembly members would support . House Bill 3202 relied on borrowing money and unrealistic revenue expectations from fines on bad drivers. The most egregious part of HB 3202 shifted the responsibility of raising taxes to local government officials, completely abrogating the General Assembly's responsibility to provide for a core state service.
