Realizing the Value of In-House Physician Leadership Development (Leadership Training‪)‬

The leadership groups include senior managers, leaders of the organized medical staff, and the governing body. The governing body is to assure that all defined responsibilities are carried out. Decisions are delegated depending on the topic and organization. The Joint Commission has put into place what much of the leadership literature, research, and practice in health care have been advocating over the past decade, focusing on improving organizational performance for the sake of the hospital's safety and quality goals.
