Mrs Balls’ daughter -

A Monologue by Mrs Balls:

Mrs Balls talks to her neighbour on the assumed shenanigans of her daughter for Mrs Balls and Mr Balls both hear through the closed door of their lounge, moaning, grunting and slurping and assume the worse.

Notes for Ffyone -

A play for single voice; an Irish women on her death bed filled full of pain killers describes in her mind to her missing sister, her liaisons at bus stops in the pouring rain waiting for the bus to come, but never does. Here she orchestrates seductions and in bar down the road does the deed.
It is told in a lilting voice, with hints of James Joyce’s Mollie Bloom.
