The Supreme Court heard oral arguments in March on a set of recommendations and rules changes to govern complex cases. The court's Task Force on the Management of Cases Involving Complex Litigation has made 23 recommendations designed to improve the management, administration, and disposition of complex cases in Florida's trial courts. These recommendations fall into three broad categories: rule processes and related functions, technology, and administrative issues. The majority of task force members believe that if fully implemented, the recommendations will improve reporting accuracy, make trial courts more efficient, and improve the administration of justice.
