The Double Trouble Caper

SAM HILL was a wise-cracking hard-boiled PI from 1950. He starred in his own comic, produced at the time by Archie Comics and Close-up Inc. (toothpaste). The character has since fallen into the public domain. The author takes creative liberties in drafting the tale, and made the character even more hard-boiled and wise cracking than when he appeared in the comic. SAM HILL makes a perfect edition to the Hard-Boiled Short series. Although, this first short is twice the length of the other shorts in the series. Its' still a short and not a novelette. 

In this episode, Sam encounters a frigid sister, who hires him to tail her sister, because there is an inheritance at stake.
