The Emu Who Flew

Emus are strange birds. I don't know if you have ever met one . I've seen some in the wild and met one in the zoo. They say that they aren't the smartest birds. I think , like all creatures , they should be given a chance. Hamish is a nice Emu . He has lots of friends and is loved by all who meet him. Emus can't fly. Hamish is an Emu who would like to fly, more than anything in the world. He decided that he would try and make that happen. He practiced every day. His friends , being good friends, cheered him on and with the help of a small bird one day, Hamish ,actually gets his wish.
