Grief-stricken over his son's death, Ray Arthur seeks a fresh start. The secluded farmhouse in the rustic Washington community should be the ideal place to escape his troubled past. 

But the rural home and its surrounding forest harbor a disturbing past of their own. An abandoned asylum decays in the lush forest behind Ray's new home. Tales abound of folks vanishing in the woods, never to be seen again. And others claim to have witnessed their dead loved ones at his property. 

Determined to be happy, Ray disregards his home's dark past.  

Until that past catches up to him, and the forest reveals its true malignant nature. 

Now, Ray's new beginning … could prove to be his end.
