Hold Me Where the Light Is

Two men who have been told they’re too much—or not enough—are about to find their soft place to land.

Nate is running on fumes. As an overworked high school history teacher, he has spent years building thick, impenetrable walls just to get through the day. He’s numb, exhausted, and convinced that carrying the weight of the world alone is the only way to survive. The last thing he has time for is vulnerability.

Silas is everything Nate isn’t: vibrant, expressive, and deeply attuned to the world around him. As the owner of The Soft Room, a local yoga studio, Silas makes his living helping other people breathe. But beneath his bright exterior and tattooed skin, Silas is hiding a profound fear that he is simply "too much" for anyone to stick around for.

When a chance encounter brings them into each other's orbit, the undeniable contrast between them sparks an intense, grounding connection. During private sessions in the dimly lit studio, the mandatory six inches of space between them becomes an agonizing, intoxicating boundary. As Silas slowly chips away at Nate's heavy armor, Nate discovers that Silas might be the only person capable of holding him together.

But healing isn't easy, and letting someone all the way in means stepping out of the dark. To build a life together, they will have to risk shattering the walls that have kept them safe for so long.

Hold Me Where the Light Is is a high-heat, deeply emotional MM contemporary romance featuring hurt/comfort, opposites attracting, and a hard-earned, beautiful happily ever after.
