Milkteeth

From the bestselling author of The Death of Jane Lawrence. The only thing more terrifying than a brood's hunger is its mother. Beatrice is a broodmother, a vampire who nurses newly made fledglings through their first years of unlife in an abandoned warren of offices beneath her patron's skyscraper. When she takes on a third fledgling, the balance ruptures. Her hunger swells out of control and her body changes, turning her into something even more monstrous. Desperate to master herself, she courts a mortal OBGYN who may be able to unravel the secrets of her anatomy, but their connection endangers her coven and her nurslings, and in a world ruled by secrecy, the smallest revelation could be fatal.
