Aboriginal Totems Aboriginal Totems

Descripción editorial

This book has some brief statements about what totems are, what it means to have a totem and how to look after it.

The Tools, Totems & Tucker Enviro-Stories program was run with students from across the central west and tableland regions of New South Wales in 2014. These students were given the opportunity to learn about traditional Aboriginal culture from local experts and their teachers. Students used what they learnt to create stories about Aboriginal culture and how this culture was used in the past and in current times. There have been ten books produced as part of this program.
