Included in this volume are the following poets: Johann Ludwig Uhland, Wilhelm Müller, Heinrich Heine, Ludwig Rellstab, and Johann Gabriel Seidl. There is a brief biography of each poet. Most of the poems of these authors that Schubert set to music is described.
