Henry Christopher Bailey (1878–1961) was an English detective author. Reggie Fortune, a medically qualified detective, is a protagonist of a lot of his stories. Dark atmosphere, mortal obsessions, corruption and vices – these are Bailey’s detective fiction distinctive feature. The Sullen Sky Mystery (1935) is considered to be his greatest work. Bailey’s works were published in various magazines. 

Call Mr. Fortune is a collection of novels by Henry Bailey. All the stories share only a protagonist – a doctor detective Reggie Fortune, with whom you will walk through some dark corners of human nature, catch some crooks, do solve some mysteries and do some other detective routine.
