Erika and her lover, Sharp-Claw, had more than enough coin to retire and leave their lives as adventurers behind, but when Duke Armington calls for them, his offer was far too good to pass on. At least the brunette thought so, her gargoyle lover not so much.

It wasn't hard to convince the futa to do it, though. Not when the duke was offering them lands to build a holdfast on, lands where they could be happy together and raise children without having to worry about how other people might look at their relationship.

And for that, all they needed to do was rescue the duke's daughter from the man that had taken her hostage. It shouldn't be too hard, should it?
