Darius Alwyn is a Realm Walker sifting through time, dreams, and reality to maintain a balance between good and evil. He broke the rules when he saved a young woman from a natural death in 1758.

Teagan Alexander lives a complacent life, freelancing as a travel writer with no ties or troubles until she stumbles into mayhem at a Scottish festival. The stranger who intervenes declares he has protected her for nearly three hundred years and warns that her life is in danger.
