Will his need of controlling everything damage any happiness …
A fun first in a new series.
From the moment they meet, Ainslee the outspoken twin has provoked Haydon, the man who is looking for a bride, demure and docile if possible. Well it is a reply in kind as he enjoyed teasing her, even if it was to choose her quiet impressionable sister.
So when they switch place at the altar, he could have stopped the event and denounced the deceit, yet he went along.
Innerly, he knows Ainslee is the woman for him, she challenges him, does not fear him nor steps back. She faces him her head held high, asking for more than being a tool to produce offsprings and feed him. But the man is stubborn and quite satisfied with how things stand. Yet his wife wants a true union, in its whole sense, one of sharing and partnership, not just being a pretty arm candy.
Can he alter his view of marriage to meet her halfway if it may satisfy his bride and bring peace to his couple.
