A serial killer in Anchorage, Alaska is bleeding clergy dry and it's Detective Maggie Boone's job to stop him. Except she has no idea that the supernatural exists and she's hunting a real-life vampire.

When Father Anatoly Brusilev is assigned to her case as a consultant, the last thing Maggie wants is a tagalong getting in the way. Now she has to keep her growing attraction for the gentle priest in check and find a serial killer before he strikes again.
