There is a hint of Armageddon in the air. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not particularly looking forward to the coming Rapture. They've lived amongst Humanity for millennia, and have grown rather fond of the lifestyle. So if Crowley and Aziraphale are going to stop it from happening, they've got to find and kill the AntiChrist (which is a shame, really, as he's a nice kid). There's just one glitch: someone seems to have misplaced him.

This 1990 cult classic by legendary fantasy authors Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett is laugh-out-loud funny and packed with quirky British humour that will delight Monty Python and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy fans. Demon Crowley and Aziraphale the angel have been charged with keeping an eye on the Antichrist, but because of a mixup at the hospital, they’ve been following the wrong kid. Veteran actor Martin Jarvis—who’s famous for portraying P.G. Wodehouse’s unflappable butler Jeeves in audiobooks, radio plays, and even on Broadway—bounces from the sarcasm of Crowley to the impertinent innocence of Aziraphale (and every other eccentric character) with ease. He nails every pause, joke and subtle irony throughout his impressive performance.It all adds up to dark, witty and naughty entertainment—the end of the world has never sounded so fun.

Brilliant reading of a brilliant book
In my opinion this is quite simply one of the best books ever - intelligent, perceptive and human as well as laugh out loud funny. Add a superb performance by the reader, Martin Jarvis, and this audio version is sheer delight. Couldn’t be better!

I loved it after I watched the tv series
Alright
I really liked this book... after I saw the tv series. Unfortunately there were too many characters too keep track of but once I saw the tv series and understood all the characters the book became much better.
